Information for all volunteers

All volunteers must have completed the 6th grade prior to the beginning of Summer Blast
- If you are currently completing 6th grade, you must serve with a parent/guardian
- If you are completing 7th grade or above, you do not need to serve with a parent
Background checks are required for everyone 18 and older who serves at Summer Blast
Anyone under 18 will need to have a parent permission form completed

3 Year Old Class

Provide an early preschool opportunity for volunteer's children to have a mini-Summer Blast using the same stories and activities geared to the 3-year old developmental phase. Lessons prepared and provided. (This is caring for volunteer children only).

Decor Team

Help create and prepare decorations that reflect the current Summer Blast theme. On-site decoration days will be Tuesday, May 26th: 9am-8pm, Wednesday, May 27th: 9am-4pm; come & go.

Elementary Crew Assistant

Assist Crew Leader in helping students connect with each other, participate in rotations, and crowd-control.

Elementary Crew Leader

A guide for a grade-based group of 6-10 students throughout the evening as they progress through nightly rotations

Nursery through 2 Year Old

Provide loving care for 2- year olds and younger of those who are volunteering at Summer Blast. (This is caring for volunteer children only).

Preschool Crew Assistant

Assist with crafts, snacks, and activities in a 4- and 5-year old classroom. (There will be 6 classrooms for Preschool).

Registration / Greeter

Greet and assist families as they enter and check-in each evening. Answer questions, direct people to desired locations, help with late arrivals, and sub wherever needed after registration is completed.

Snack Team

Prepare, serve, and clean up snacks for students and volunteers during Summer Blast.

Wherever Needed

People who are flexible and willing to serve wherever needed!
